Unsupported
I've done the unthinkable. The inconceivable. The I-can't-belive-I- have-the-guts-to-do-this. I've come to work today.. um.. unsupported. Ok, I know what you are thinking, but I have to fill you in on a little cosmetics company background. The offices dress code usually leaves room for extremely trendy, well put together looks. One can bypass conservatism in favor of style. I've actually attended meetings where members of sr. management (mostly marketing) have worn halter top dresses, exposed bare mid-drifts, and donned mini-skirts. Secondly, today is the first real day of truly beautiful spring weather and I have a cute new top and jeans that I wanted to wear on this casual friday. Unfortunately, the top is one of those summery types that don't allow additional support. While I think it looks fine, and my girl coworkers at work said there isn't a problem, I still feel... a little risque. But is that such a bad thing? To have a naughty little secret at work, that is, for just one day. :)

hmm... The "no bra" thing is ok, IMHO, as long as your nipples aren't poking out and you don't have large breasts (the bouncing thing isn't very classy, not to mention the fact that the lack of support is bad for your body).
Yes, I am a man and I appreciate a well-dressed woman.. But, there's trendy / well-dressed and then there's hey-I'm-an-attention-whore dressed woman.
Case in point for the latter... I ran into this lady in the elevator where I live.. She was wearing one of those trendy wife-beater shirts with the "cutesy" stuff on it (like the ones from Saks).
Not a problem, initially.. But, when you take into account that she has rather large, fake breasts and was not wearing a bra, the problem (or problems) presented themselves.
I don't even know this lady's name, but I can tell you what her nipples look like and what color they are...
To top it off... she was WITH HER MOTHER!!?!?!?
Talk about class..
Unfortunately (or fortunately -- in today's case), i am not that well endowed. I can't say after living 4 or 5 years in LA I didn't consider the option of augmentation. But then, if MBA Cutie is already a Cutie without external help, is there really a point in getting more help?
I know what you're going through. I'm not wearing any underwear today and have a slight hole in the crotch of my pants. Everytime I stand up, I feel a slight breeze. It's actually kind of arousing.

(I'm the one whose commented started with "hmm").
I have to commend you on being happy with who you are, especially after living in L.A. (yuck).
To be honest, it's not the size of the breasts that does it; I mean, large breasts are "nice to look at," BUT... A woman with a very-low self-esteem and a nice body makes for a very unattractive woman.
A high sense of self-esteem is what does it.
I love posts about boobs and nipples. I could read about them all day.
I forgot to put boxers in my gym bag. No time to run home so it is "commando" style for me today. Good thing I am not in grade school where there was always the slight possibility that I would get pantsed (sp?). If there was any doubt before, you are now the blogger who everyone wants to meet and see in person.
Gosh !! this totally took a wrong turn in the conversation ... if you are working in a top company with strict dress (even though its casual on Friday) its expected to be mostly conservative.I work for HR in a Fortune 100 company and if you were in my company you would definitely get a warning on your current dress. An employee is an ambassador of the company, so the way you dress for work will tell a lot about the company's culture.

was there ever any doubt about that? ;)

Looks like you have never worked for an off beat, fashion related, or majorly trendy corporation. Sure, if i worked for an ultra conservative fortune 100 corporation, I would have never done this. But hey, I look pretty (and many people have told me so today), I am within our dress codes, and have had fun keeping this secret.
Fortune 100 HR person, do you work for the Catholic church or something? Your HR department seriously monitors its employees undergarments?
The hole in the crotch of my pants just got a little bigger. I bet that I'll be able to hang brain pretty soon.

dude, one our our directors here has monstrous boobs. But i think hers are supported today.
Girl, u sure know how to attract attention!!.
I have not seen so many anonynmos comments for one post in a single day!!...Way to go....
now I got to watch out for you at Go Blue Rendezvous
Can you talk about your most intimate of areas in your next post?
I find it amazing the frequency with which you talk about your multiple dates, your body, and your "cuteness."
Insecure, much?
She doesn't strike me as the insecure type. The context of her messages is a bit off for that. She comes across as fairly shallow, but then, many people qualify as "shallow" but are often not nearly as open about it. At least she's honest about who she is - you definitely know what you're getting, or not getting as the case may be.
I admit, I think I am pretty shallow. :)
And I don't think i'm all that either.. there are plenty of girls out there that are more good looking than me! I can definitely guarantee that.

multiple dates? oh gosh not really... i went through my posts... aside from the youngin'.. i had a cancelled "coffee date" with a guy at Barnes and Nobles.. and the married guy. I didn't realize that was a lot of dates! I would actually say.. it's not that much!
my body --- mmm yup sometimes i wear fake eyelashes when I go out, sure I think i'm pretty, but there are SO MANY PRETTY GIRLS OUT THERE!!! Helena Rubenstein once said, there aren't ugly girls, just lazy ones! And sure, i have body issues like every other girl out there, but why worry about them. I try to go to the gym every day and otherwise, eat what I want and have a good time. I am not going to go all type A on myself.. and dont' bloggers want to hear good things..not a sob story about how I hate my thighs?
My blog is called MBA CUTIE.. i don't think i'm totally off track by being a bit superficial. Maybe you're looking for the blog of MBA NERD.
